The Director may restrict or suspend any or all flight operations and/or close the airport when required in the interest of safety, military need or special circumstances. Closure shall be accompanied, as appropriate, with the issuance of FAA notices to persons using the airport and notice to appropriate Air Traffic Control agencies, with such persons and agencies receiving similar notices of the re-opening of the airport.
