12.12.150: TEMPORARY STREET CLOSINGS:
The chief of police or the city engineer may temporarily close any portion of any street for celebrations, parades, local special events, and other purposes when, in the opinion of the police chief or the city engineer, such a street closing is necessary for the safety and protection of persons who are to use that portion of the street during the temporary closing. (Ord. 2118 § 1, 1990)
