Where stop signs have been erected pursuant to this title, any vehicle approaching such sign shall stop in accordance with the provisions of section 22450 of the Vehicle Code except that no stop is required where:
A. An officer is on duty and directs traffic to proceed;
B. A traffic signal is in operation and indicates that traffic may proceed;
C. A stop sign has been removed or covered pursuant to section 10.36.060 of this chapter. (Prior code § 67607)
