When the owner or person in possession of the animal(s) is not in compliance with the conditions stated in section 6.24.020 of this chapter, the chief of police or his representative, upon ten (10) days' prior notice to the person keeping the animals, shall revoke the permit under which such animals or fowl are kept. Once the permit is revoked, the owner or person in possession of such animals shall remove the animals from the property within fourteen (14) days. Animals not removed from the premises within the fourteen (14) day period shall be removed by the animal control bureau at the expense of the owner or person in possession of the animals.
