"Level of service" means the complexity of field emergency medical services that may be provided by a permittee, and will be specified as basic life support provided by EMT-1A personnel conforming to the provisions of the California Health and Safety Code section 1797.170, full advanced life support provided by California licensed physician or by paramedics and mobile intensive care nurses certified by the medical director of the local EMS agency under California Health and Safety Code section 1797.172 or limited advanced life support provided by EMT-II personnel authorized under Health and Safety Code section 1797.171.
