2.02.040: COMPENSATION; DETERMINATION OF POPULATION:
For the purposes of sections 2.02.030 through 2.02.050 of this chapter, the population of the city shall be determined either by the last preceding federal census, or by any subsequent census, or by an estimate validated by the state of California department of finance.
