Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or both such fine and imprisonment; provided, however, pursuant to subsections (b) and (c) of section 326.5 of the Penal Code, any person receiving a profit, wage, or salary from any bingo game authorized by section 19 of article IV of the state constitution and this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
