15.20.630: LIABILITY FOR RESPONSE COSTS:
   A.   Any person who violates sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630 shall be liable for response costs incurred in responding to the unpermitted use, discharge or storage of fireworks.
   B.   If a person who violated sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630 is a minor charge, the responsible guardian of the minor charge and the minor charge shall be jointly and severally liable for the response costs incurred pursuant to sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630.
   C.   To incur liability for response costs imposed by sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630, a person who violates sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630 need not be present at the event that causes the response giving rise to the imposition of response costs.
   D.   Response costs imposed by sections 15.20.550 through 15.20.630 are in addition to any other costs that may be recovered under this Code or State law. (Ord. 2948, 2022: Ord. 2900, 2019: Ord. 2847, 2017)
