Every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on a business in which over half of the gross receipts are from selling for resale any goods, wares, or merchandise, not otherwise especially licensed by any other section of this chapter and chapter 5.04 of this title shall pay a semiannual license fee in accordance with the following schedule:

Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) and over shall pay the semiannual fee of fourteen dollars ($14.00) plus one dollar ninety cents ($1.90) for each additional ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) annual gross receipts or fraction thereof. (Prior code § 2269)
