A. Fee: For every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on a dramatic, art, music, dancing, painting, speech or other school, college, or studio, the license tax shall be ten dollars ($10.00) semiannually for each such school, college or studio having at any time five (5) or more students at one assembly.
B. Exemptions: Provided that this license may not apply to the public school system or a nonprofit school, college or university. (Prior code §§ 2262.1, 2262.11)
