For every traveling rope, wire, dancing, magic, legerdemain, game, and all traveling shows, theatrical or vaudeville exhibitions, showing in a tent or tents, on the street, or other places, where the public is invited, an admission charged, or contributions solicited (after permission granted by chief of police or license collector), the license shall be six dollars ($6.00) per day.
