5.08.220: EMPLOYMENT BUREAU; DEFINED:

For the purpose of this chapter and chapter 5.04 of this title, the term "employment bureau" is defined as the business of securing employment for any person or persons for a fee or compensation of any kind or furnishing information regarding situations or employment for a fee or compensation. (Prior code § 2244.1)
