For every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on the business of installing furnaces, sheet metal work, roofing, siding, heating or air conditioning, steam fittings or boilers, evaporative coolers, or similar construction activity, bidding or submitting a bid for any of the same, the license shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00) semiannually.
