For every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on the business of plumbing, plumbing and heating combined, lathing or plastering, drywall or drywall and painting combined, cement, concrete, masonry or brick work, cesspool or septic tank construction, paving, surveying, sewer work, swimming pool construction, sandblasting, or similar construction activity, bidding or submitting a bid for any of the same, the license shall be twenty five dollars ($25.00) semiannually.
