Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter and chapter 5.08 of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, and in addition to any other penalties as herein provided, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in the city jail, or the county jail, of the county of San Bernardino, for a period of not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
