18.200.060: PUBLIC HEARING; COMMISSION CONSIDERATION:
In considering any request for a change of zone, the commission shall satisfy itself, before recommending to the city council that the change be granted, that the proposed change of zone is in conformity with the general plan of the city, and that the proposed change of zone is rescinded related to the public health, safety or general welfare.
