3.04.040: UNPAID NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS:
Receipts, permits or other evidence of payment to the city issued in acceptance of a negotiable instrument shall be void and of no effect should said instrument be uncollectible in cash for any reason. (Prior code § 14301)
