15.20.180: RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES:

Section 308.1.7 of the California fire code is hereby amended to read as follows:

308.1.7 Religious or Other Assembly Ceremonies. Candles held in persons' hands (or on a non-stable device) are especially dangerous and shall not be permitted. Battery operated simulated candles are available and may be used. No permit is required for battery-operated candles or other electric candles.
