A. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee and department director will establish an interview schedule mutually convenient to the candidate, Human Resources Director and the department director.
B. The Human Resources Director and department director and/or their designees will interview candidates and make the selection. Selection will be based on qualifications, test results (if applicable), state and federal regulations and the Affirmative Action Plan.
C. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee will negotiate terms and conditions of employment.
D. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee will make the position offer to the successful candidate.
E. All other candidates will be notified within seven business days after the position has been filled.
F. Should the interviews produce no viable candidate, the Human Resources Director or his/her designee and the department director should develop a new recruitment plan.
