A. Initial screening will be completed by the Human Resources Director or his/her designee to verify that the candidate meets the minimum requirements.
B. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee will check references and complete a background verification check. This background verification check will vary depending on the job description.
C. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee will use accepted methods in personnel management and follow federal and state regulations to check and verify the candidates application including a criminal check.
D. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee will provide the department director with verification information.
E. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee, in consultation with the department director, will select the most qualified candidates for an interview.
F. All candidates not selected for an interview will be notified within seven business days of that decision by the Human Resources Director.
