When there is determined to be a vacancy in any City position, the following shall apply:
A. The department director will identify the position to be filled, and obtain the required budget clearances to hire.
B. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee, in consultation with the department director, will be responsible for the job description, date of anticipated hire, minimum qualifications and salary range.
C. The affected department director and the Human Resources Department or his/her designee shall discuss recruiting, screening and interviewing schedule.
