A. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee shall develop in consultation with other department directors a comprehensive internal training program that represents the City’s training needs. The Human Resources Department designee shall administer the internal training program.
B. The Human Resources Department shall make a list of internal training opportunities available to all employees, including but not being limited to, supervisors, department directors and any other employees designed by the Mayor or the Managing Director. Department heads who want training for their employees should request such training from the Human Resources Department, identify employees, schedule training time and provide written authorization for employees for such training. Supervisors should consult with their department directors who have the responsibility of notifying the Human Resources Department. Employees should consult with their supervisors.
