A. Any person aggrieved by the action of the Chief of Police shall have the right to have the action of the Chief of Police reviewed by the Mayor of the City upon written request to the Mayor delivered by registered mail to the Mayor's office or to the Reading Recreation Commission, as applicable. The Mayor shall thereupon review the action of the Chief of Police and the reasons for his action and notify the aggrieved party by mail within 10 days of the receipt of the appeal of his action thereon. B. Where a late application has been denied by the Chief of Police, the action of the Chief of Police may be reviewed by the Mayor, upon receipt of a written request for review by the aggrieved party. Failure to issue a permit within three days of the receipt of the appeal shall be deemed notice of dismissal of the appeal.
