Prior to the commencement of demolition by the city or its agents, a permit will be obtained from the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality through Nebraska Asbestos Control regulations. The permit will be obtained by application and inspection must be performed by a Nebraska certified Asbestos Inspector or by signed statement of homeowner attesting to the absence of asbestos material.
