§ 51.05 CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE; COLLECTION SITE; TRANSFER.
   With appropriate permit from the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, the municipality shall provide a solid waste transfer station at the municipal landfill for the collection and transfer of construction and demolition waste created and collected from within the municipal solid waste jurisdiction area. The City Council shall designate and establish a site within the municipal landfill for such solid waste transfer station and shall set the time or times such landfill and solid waste transfer station shall be open for receipt of such construction and demolition waste. Each party using the solid waste transfer station for the collection and transfer of construction and demolition waste created and collected from within the municipal solid waste jurisdiction area shall pay the municipality an amount equal to $.08 per pound for each pound of construction and demolition waste deposited at such transfer station. The municipality may contract with an independent contractor to provide for such solid waste transfer station. No construction or demolition waste shall otherwise be disposed of at or within the municipal landfill, except through deposit at the designated solid waste transfer station.
