(a) A repeat nuisance service fee of not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) may be imposed upon any interested party of a building or real property for each repeat nuisance service rendered by a Department within one year of the occurrence of a first nuisance event pursuant to Section 686.06(a), but not less than thirty (30) days after the notice of fee.
(b) All repeat nuisance service fees imposed and charged against the interested party under this section shall be deemed delinquent thirty days after a billing statement has been mailed by the City for said fee. Delinquent payments shall be subject to a ten percent (10%) late penalty of the amount due. A repeat nuisance service fee maybe collected by assessment against the property as defined through the Portage County Auditor to be assessed as a lien on the real property in accordance with law or by any other available legal remedy.
