Sections 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq. shall not be construed as imposing upon the city or any official or employee thereof any liability or responsibility for damages to any person injured by the performance of any excavation work for which an excavation permit has been issued under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq.; nor shall the city or any official or employee thereof be deemed to have assumed any liability or responsibility by reason of authorized inspections, the issuance of any permit, or the approval of any excavation work under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq.
