§ 93.031 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   APPLICANT. Any person making written application to the Street Superintendent for an excavation permit under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq.

   CITY. The City of Raton, New Mexico.

   CITY COMMISSION or COMMISSION. The governing body and the City Commission of the City of Raton, New Mexico.

   EXCAVATION WORK. The excavation and other work permitted under an excavation permit issued under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq. and required to be performed under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq.

   PERMITTEE. Any person who has been granted and has in full force and effect an excavation permit issued under §§ 93.030 et seq., 93.050 et seq., 93.070 et seq., 93.090 et seq., and 93.105 et seq.

   PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company, or organization of any kind.

   STREET. Any street, highway, sidewalk, alley, avenue, or other public way or public grounds in the city.

   STREET SUPERINTENDENT. The Street Superintendent of the city.
