The continuous parking of either domestic or foreign commercial truck on any public street in lieu of domestic storage is hereby prohibited, and the Chief of Police is hereby given authority to remove and to impound the truck after having given the owner or operator thereof due removal notice. The owner shall then become liable in accordance with the provisions of § 1212-18 of the 1979 New Mexico Uniform Traffic Ordinance.
