(A) Generally.
(1) Commercial trucks or transports passing through the city in a northerly direction shall detour from South Second Street to South First Street at Pecos Avenue, shall continue traveling north on North First Street to its intersection with Moulton Avenue, across the bridge over the north side underpass.
(2) All trucks and transports passing through the city in a southerly direction shall detour from North Second Street at its intersection with Moulton Avenue, cross the bridge over the north side underpass, and move continually south on North and South First Street to its intersection with Galisteo Avenue where they will detour back on Galisteo to South Second Street.

(B) Temporary stops between detour points; required repairs. Temporary stops of truck or transport traffic may be made on North or South First Street between the detour points enumerated in division (A) above of not over 1 hour, unless mechanical repair services should be required. When the moving of the truck or transport to a garage on Second Street or other prohibited district be required, notice thereof must be given to the Chief of Police and his or her consent obtained.
