§ 53.064 PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS.
   (A)   Except as provided in §§ 53.060 et seq., it shall be unlawful to construct or maintain within the city any privy, privy vault, septic tank, cesspool, or other facility intended or used for the disposal of sewage.
   (B)   (1)   Where a public sanitary sewer is not available within the city, or in any area under the jurisdiction of the city, the building sewer shall be connected to a private sewage disposal system complying with the provisions and recommendations of the environmental improvement division of the State Health and Environment Department and the State Plumbing Code.
      (2)   The private sewage disposal system shall be constructed, maintained, and operated at all times in a sanitary manner.
