§ 53.019 PRIVATE USE OF WATER DURING FIRE EMERGENCY.
   (A)   When any alarm of fire is or shall be sounded in the city, all hydrants or service pipes then open or in use for the watering of lawns, gardens, trees, or shrubs, shall immediately be closed and remain closed until the alarm is subsided and signal given that the fire is out.
   (B)   No person shall sprinkle, eject, or throw water from any public or private hydrant, washer or sprinkler, while any building or valuable property is on fire and in the process of being extinguished, unless the same be for the purpose of extinguishing or preventing the spread of fire.
