§ 53.018 TAKING WATER FROM HYDRANTS, PLUGS, RESERVOIRS, AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   No person, unauthorized by the proper authorities of the city, shall take water from any public or private hydrant, plug, street washer, draw cock, hose, or reservoir, except for fire purposes and for the use of the Fire Department in case of fire.
   (B)   In no case shall any person use or take water directly from the outlets described in division (A) above for private use without first having a permit to do so from the proper authorities of the city.
