§ 11.01 CITY SEAL.

   (A)   A seal is hereby adopted for the city, the impression of which shall be as follows:

“City of Raton

Seal

New Mexico”

   (B)   The Seal of the city shall be affixed to all ordinances and documents which it may be necessary to authenticate.

§ 11.02 SCANLON SEAL.

   Scanlon Seal as official seal. The Seal was drawn by Ted Scanlon and adopted by the Raton City Commission on December 10, 1974. Authorized use of the City Seal will be any use approved by the City Manager or City Clerk in writing. Any unauthorized use of the City Seal is prohibited and considered unlawful and subject to the penalty per § 10.99.
