It shall be unlawful for the driver of any taxicab to permit any person to occupy or use the vehicle for the purpose of prostitution, lewdness or assignation with knowledge or reasonable cause to know that the vehicle is, or is to be, used for those purposes; or to direct, take or transport, or offer or agree to direct, take or transport any person to any building or place, or to any other person, with knowledge or reasonable cause to know that the purpose of the directing, taking or transporting is prostitution, lewdness, or assignation.
