(A) The Village Board, by majority vote, may approve an application for a single meter, which meter will be used to supply more than one user.
(B) An application for authority shall contain the following:
(1) Name of person or entity who shall receive and be responsible for all billings for said meter;
(2) The number of units or persons receiving water service through the single meter; and
(3) The minimum charge will be made for each billing period for each person or entity or unit using through the common meter. Excess usage will be divided among persons or units hooked to the common meter as per agreement with user and person responsible for payment. The village should have no responsibility for dividing the charges.
