When the applicant hereunder has complied with all the provisions of the ordinances of said village, he or she shall be charged the fee and costs hereinafter specified, a permit shall then be issued by said Superintendent authorizing the connection to be made and specifying the size thereof The fee shall be $750 for hook up to the water and $300 for the hook up to the sewer. All plumbing work shall be performed by a competent plumber and shall be subject to inspection and approval by the Superintendent. A permit must be obtained for each connection and each connection shall serve only a single building, residence, premises or place. In the event the fee of $1,050 (water and sewer hook up) and labor and material to complete connection exceeds the $1,050, the additional costs shall be paid by the applicant before any connection or hook-up is granted.
