The following safety restrictions are imposed on the location of such equipment:
(A) Containers/dumpsters shall be placed parallel to the curb with the street side of the container not more than eight feet six inches from the adjacent curb.
(B) Containers/dumpsters shall be equipped and displayed with appropriate reflective markers to ensure high visibility to traffic. Appropriate reflective markers consist of Conspicuity Tape with shall be two inches wide, six inches red, six inches white, similar or equivalent to 3M Scotchlite Diamond Grade Conspicuity Series 981 Part #67535. This tape shall be placed 24 inches along each edge of all top eight corners of the roll-off container/dumpster.
(C) Containers/dumpsters placement shall be valid for a period of 30 days unless City Council expressly extends the duration of the placement for an additional 30 days. Any additional request for time due to hardships must be addressed in writing to the City Council.
(D) The contents of a container/dumpster shall be emptied and disposed of upon reaching the waterline of the roll-off-container/dumpster.
(E) Containers/dumpsters must be visibly marked with owner’s name and phone number.
