All persons required to install equipment and apparatus under § 159.15 of this subchapter, as well all businesses required to maintain fire alarms, fire detection systems and hood suppression systems under this code shall submit to the City Fire Department a certificate of inspection on an annual basis, with hood suppression systems required to be certified every six months. The inspections must be performed by persons or firms identified by the Fire Chief as qualified to perform the inspections and the inspections shall be recorded on a standardized form provided by the Fire Chief, or in substantial compliance with the form.
