(A) (1) Discharging firearms, air rifles or BB guns.
(a) No person shall discharge any species of firearm in the town except when doing so in the line of duty, when lawfully doing so in defense of oneself, of another person or of property or when otherwise authorized by law or ordinance.
(b) It is unlawful to discharge an air rifle or BB gun in the town.
(2) Reckless conduct. It is unlawful for any person to engage in reckless conduct while having in his or her possession any shotgun, rifle or pistol, such actions consisting of creating a situation of unreasonable risk and probability of death or great bodily harm to another, and demonstrating a conscious disregard for the safety of another person.
(3) Carrying concealed weapons. It is unlawful for any person to carry concealed upon or about his or her person any pistol, revolver, dagger, Bowie knife, dirk knife, switchblade knife, spring-type knife, metal knuckles or any other dangerous or deadly weapon or instrument except when doing so in the line of duty or as may be permitted by law.

(B) (1) Weapon carrying generally. It shall be unlawful for any person to carry upon or about his or her person, or in a purse or other container belonging to such person, any dagger, Bowie knife, switchblade knife, spring-type knife, sword cane, knife having a blade which opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in the handle of the knife, blackjack, loaded cane, billy, hand chain, metal knuckles or any other offensive weapon, excluding firearms, whether such weapon be concealed or unconcealed.
(2) Exceptions. However, this division (B) shall not prohibit:
(a) The proper use of guns or knives for hunting, fishing or educational or recreational purposes;
(b) The carrying or use of weapons in a manner otherwise permitted by statute;
(c) The carrying, possession and use of any weapon by a peace officer or other person authorized by law to carry a weapon in the performance of his or her official duties and in compliance with the rules of the employing agency; or
(d) The carrying and use of any weapons provided in this division (B) when used for the purpose of living history reenactment. For the purpose of this division (B)(2)(d), LIVING HISTORY REENACTMENT means the depiction of historical characters, scenes, historical life or events for entertainment, education or historical documentation through the wearing or use of period, historical, antique or vintage clothing, accessories, weapons and other implements of the historical period.
