(A) Definition. For the purpose of this section, the following definition applies unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
STATE OF INTOXICATION. The condition in which a person is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or low-point beer, or of any narcotic or drug, to such an extent so as to deprive the person of his or her full physical or mental power, or in which a person is a danger to himself, herself or others.
(B) Prohibited act. It is unlawful for any person to appear or be upon or in any street, alley or other public place in the town in a state of intoxication.
