§ 54.20 PERMIT REQUIRED; EXCEPTION.

It shall be unlawful for any person to begin or perform any work on any electrical installation for light, heat or power within the town without first obtaining a permit to do so from the town. Permits shall not be required, however, for maintenance work or repair work if the wiring is not altered.
