§ 34.23  REAL PROPERTY TRANSFER FEES.
   (A)   I.C. 36-2-9-18 allows that the legislative body of a county to adopt an ordinance authorizing the County Auditor to collect a fee in the amount of $10 for the legal description of each parcel contained in a deed for which the County Auditor makes a real property endorsement; said fee shall be placed in a dedicated fund for use to maintain plat books.
   (B)   The County Auditor shall charge $10 per transfer of each parcel of property the County Auditor endorses.
