§ 34.05  CLAIM PAYMENTS IN ADVANCE OF BOARD ALLOWANCE.
   (A)   I.C. 36-2-6-4.5 allows a county executive to adopt an ordinance allowing money to be disbursed for lawful county purposes by the County Auditor in advance of the County Board of Commissioners allowance for certain expenses.
   (B)   The county must make timely payment of its utility vouchers so as to not be assessed late charges, penalties, and interest.
   (C)   The normal cycle for advertisement and payment of vouchers does not always allow timely payment of these vouchers.
   (D)   (1)   The County Board of Commissioners does hereby permit payment of all utilities upon receipt, with advertisement and presentation to the Board at the next available regular County Board of Commissioners meeting.
      (2)   Said utilities shall include, but not be limited to, telephone, electric, and gas.
