§ 32.02  TRAINED ATTACK/DRUG-SNIFFING DOG; AUTHORIZED.
   The County Law Enforcement Agency shall be allowed the use of trained K-9 drug/attack dog(s). Said dog(s) shall be properly trained, housed, maintained, and cared for by the officer(s), and shall be the sole responsibility of the officer(s) when the animal is not working for the county. The county shall provide liability coverage for injury or property damage caused by the dog in the course of its actual work for the county. During off periods from working, liability will fall on the owner of the animal. The actual working of the dog shall be in the discretion of the County Sheriff’s Department.
