2-1-8: RETURNED CHECK CHARGE 1 :
The fee for a check which has been given by an individual, corporation or organization to any office or department of the City and given within the course of conducting business with the City, and the check is returned due to insufficient funds, account closed or any other reason, shall be set by the Mayor and City Council by ordinance, motion or resolution. (See appendix A of this Code.) (1988 Code § 7-116)
