A. Required: It is unlawful for any journeyman to do mechanical work within the corporate limits of the city unless such work is done by employment of such journeyman by a mechanical contractor. All mechanical work done within the corporate limits of the city shall be done under contract or agreement with a mechanical contractor. Any such mechanical work done by a journeyman within the corporate limits of the city shall be under employment by a mechanical contractor. Should any journeyman perform mechanical work within the corporate limits of the city except under employment by a mechanical contractor, such shall be deemed an offense and a violation of this code.
B. State License Required: Journeymen are required to possess a current, valid state license. (1988 Code § 5-703)
