6-5-31: THROUGH STREETS:
   A.   Authority To Designate: City personnel, subject to such direction as the City Council may give, may designate any street or part of a street a through street.
   B.   Signage: Whenever the City designates and describes a through street, the stop sign, or yield sign if deemed more appropriate, shall be placed and maintained on every street intersecting a through street, or intersecting that portion thereof, unless traffic at such intersection is controlled at all times by traffic-control signals.
   C.   Stop Signs: At the intersection of two (2) such through streets or at the intersection of a through street and a heavy traffic street not so designated, stop signs shall be erected at the approaches of either of the streets as may be determined by the City if deemed desirable.
