When the Mayor and Council act to create a committee under section 1-5-6 of this chapter the resolution to form the committee shall include the following provisions which shall be applicable to the committee's purpose, form and function:
A. Specification of the number of persons to be appointed to the committee, and
B. The period of time for which the committee shall exist. A beginning date shall be specified. The time period may be for a specific time period or specified as an indefinite period of time until the Mayor and Council shall take action by resolution to dissolve the committee, and
C. The purpose for the creation of the committee shall be included in the resolution and shall be stated in such terms as to reasonably define its purpose, scope and function.
D. The resolution creating a committee may include such other and further terms and provisions as deemed by the Mayor and Council to be appropriate to the accomplishment of the purpose for which the committee is formed. (Ord. 2018-1, 2-6-2018)
