A. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle upon a public way, negligently, heedlessly and without due caution, in a manner so as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property.
The word "negligent" as used herein shall mean without due care and caution, or without due regard to the width, grade, curves, corners, traffic and other attendant conditions of streets, highways, roads or other ways used for vehicular traffic within the City limits. (Ord. 0-77-17, 6-7-1977)
B. Any person convicted of negligent driving shall be fined not less than seventy five dollars ($75.00) nor more than seventy five dollars ($75.00) for each offense. Any person cited under the provisions of this Section not paying the fine within fifteen (15) days shall face an additional penalty of seventy five dollars ($75.00).
